(I have the PSP version, which has tons of goodies, but it's just not the same as playing against real people, and nobody I know owns a PSP.These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Your Gaming Shop INC's Website, located at By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. I'd love to play Powerstone with three buddies, for example. I just don't have money for new games anymore.)īut I've heard some of the multiplayer games for this system were the best in the world. (Seriously, I've purchased like three games in the past year, and each one has been either severely marked down or bought used for a fraction of the original price. :-P (Ridiculous considering how great of a deal I got, but oh well.) I'd also love to get a bunch of great games for this thing, but seriously, I have such little time for video games lately that the last thing I need is to pour a bunch of money into something that will end up just collecting dust. Is it just me, or was that years ahead of its time?)Īs far as a video cord goes, I know I could always just buy one on Amazon or something for like $5, but part of me is hesitant to spent more on one cord than I spent on the whole system. (They had a freaking internet browser on this thing, and plans for an MP3 player VMS back in 2000. Thanks! The more I look into this system, the more awesome it seems. ![]() I guess my question is- should I keep it and buy some games (and a video cord)? Or should I just sell it for far more than I paid for it? I have very little time for video games these days so I'm usually very hesitant to spend money on them (hence why I low-balled the seller- I wasn't planning on spending more than like $10 today so I wasn't expecting to wind up with a Dreamcast!).Īny opinions would be greatly appreciated! I've never owned a Dreamcast, so I really don't know much of anything about it (though I know that everyone that I've talked to that owned one says it was the greatest system they ever owned). It came with a power cord (no video cord, unfortunately), three controllers, and a memory card. They told me to make an offer, so I figured I'd completely low-ball them (since I was just curious- I had very little intention of actually buying it, as I have practically no time or money to spend on video games these days) so I said $2. I asked the owners how much for the Sega Dreamcast, and they responded with, "The what?" I went garage sailing with my wife today, and found a Dreamcast in a bin with some other stuff.
